Good Samaritan Children's Home: A vision of hope for underprivileged children

The Good Samaritan Children's Home was founded in 1966 by Bishop MV Raju, a man who was passionate about helping underprivileged children. He believed that every child deserves a chance to live a life of dignity, regardless of their social or financial status.

The home started out with just 15 children, but it has since grown to serve hundreds of children. The home provides a safe and loving environment for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or are living in poverty. It also provides them with quality education, healthcare, and emotional support.

The Good Samaritan Children's Home is a shining example of what can be achieved when one person has a vision and the courage to act on it. The home has touched the lives of countless children, and it continues to make a difference in the world.


WHO ARE WE?

Good Samaritan Children's Home: Providing a brighter future for underprivileged children

The Good Samaritan Children's Home is a non-profit organization that has been providing a safe and nurturing environment for underprivileged children since 1966. When the home was first started, it only had 15 children. But over the years, it has grown significantly to accommodate hundreds of children.

The home provides a variety of services to its children, including quality education, healthcare, accommodation, emotional and psychological support. It also has a number of programs in place to help children develop their talents and skills.

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the home is accommodating 55 girls in Tanuku and 30 boys in Palakollu. The home is always looking for ways to expand its services and reach more children in need.

We strive to equip children with the resources, knowledge, and inspiration they need to conquer challenges and seize opportunities. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, and we offer a variety of programs to help them develop their talents and skills.

We are inspired by the words of our founder, Bishop MV Raju, who said, "Every child deserves a chance to live a life of dignity and opportunity." We believe that by empowering children, we can create a better future for them and for the world.


WHAT WE OFFER?

We offer a variety of services to help children in need, including:

  • Accommodation: We provide a safe and loving home for underprivileged children.
  • Daycare: We provide daycare services for street children.
  • Free medical camps: We conduct free medical camps to provide healthcare to children in need.
  • Health and sanitation awareness programs: We organize health and sanitation awareness programs to educate children about the importance of good health and hygiene.
  • Clothing and groceries distribution: We distribute clothing and groceries to retired and exceptional people.
  • Tuition centers: We run tuition centers for children in slums and children living on the streets.
